The puzzle was for things that begin with the word “kitchen.” McBain correctly guessed, “Cabinet, towels, oven, sink.” After winning the puzzle, McBain asked about one of the answers.

“Kitchen oven?” asked McBain. “What was that? Who calls it a ‘kitchen oven’?”

Many fans agreed with McBain, and several even took to social media to voice their support.

Sajak didn’t agree with either McBain or the fans apparently, because he started yelling at the contestant.

“Don't!” Sajak exclaimed. “You won! Don't argue, Darin! ... You got the puzzle. Ungrateful players! I've had it!”

McBain barely missed out on playing for the bonus round puzzle as he finished in second place. But at least he ended up taking home $15,350 and an apology from Sajak.

“I'm sorry I yelled at you,” said Sajak. “It’s just — I don't remember your mother giving us trouble like you did.”
